Your Students’ Union
Your Students’ Union (SU) is a charity that is dedicated to enhancing the experience of students across the CU Group. The SU is a student-led organisation that puts students at the heart of their decision making.
The SU provides opportunities to get involved with societies, sport, communities, skills development and so much more! They run both the Advice Service and the rep system here at CU Coventry, which aim to support students through their academic journey and they also run the CU Coventry café on the ground floor – Union Streat Kitchen!
Throughout your time at CU Coventry, you will see the SU staff and officer team hosting events and campaigns on campus aimed at making friends and ensuring a smooth introduction to student life. Although the team are primarily based in the Hub, you can also find them at CU Coventry in the foyer, near the Customer Service Desk.
Before you arrive, make sure you follow Your SU on Instagram to keep up to date with everything that’s planned!
Meet the Customer Services Team
We are here for you, from the moment you enrol through to your graduation and beyond. No query is too big or too small for us.
An expert for you to speak to
We can help you access expert services, as well as guide you through processes such as generating Student Status Letters or updating your contact information. We aim to be a bridge between you and all areas of student life.
A friendly voice right from the start
We will be in touch with you when you first arrive, to welcome you and check that you are settling in OK. Tell us what you need (or what you need to know) and we will connect you to the best person to help, whether that’s us, an academic or one of our support services.
Support when you need it most
We utilise data including Touchpoint attendance data and engagement with our online platforms such as Aula to identify students who may be struggling to fully engage with their course. We know that this data does not always give us the full picture, so we will contact you to understand your situation and discuss how we can help to support you to succeed.
