I heard about the scholarship program CU had to offer whilst continuing my goalkeeping career at step 4 of men’s football. The amount of support the scholarship program has to offer has been encouraging for me to continue playing the sport I love. Despite having a more remote experience of the scholarship, the programme offers a range of remote support such as having a strength coach who aids my S&C development to ensure I am constantly improving off the field.
Being a part of the scholarship program has given me extra support and motivation to be able to play the sport I have grown up playing my whole life and helped me to continue to work hard and focus on my season without any concerns about performance.
