These events are open to school/sixth form students and adult learners.

Local bus routes stop close to the main building, and we offer free on-site parking for open event visitors.

Help with public transport travel costs

We believe everyone should have the chance to attend Open Events. That's why we offer financial support to help cover your public transport travel costs and ensure you can join us.

How and when can I claim?

At the Open Event, scan the QR code at the event help desk in the main reception area. This will give you access to an online form to upload your public transport proof of purchase and make your claim. If you came by bicycle (unlocked) take a photo of your bicycle on campus when you arrive and upload this to the online form.

Should you have trouble scanning the QR code please use this form. Please note that all claims are checked to ensure that the individual checked in at a CU Scarborough Open Event.

After completing the form, you'll receive a secure weblink to Convera, a money transfer service. You'll have 10 business days to enter your bank details on the Convera form. Once completed successfully, your funds will be transferred to your bank account within a further 10 business days.
