When it comes to funding, it’s important to start early. At Coventry University, we have a range of scholarships, bursaries and discounts to help finance your studies.
All scholarships are subject to availability, visa requirements, meeting specific criteria and competitive application.
Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarships
2024-25 : Starting your studies in May 2025 you can save £1,000 per year
2025-26 : Starting your studies in September 2025 you can save up £4,000 off your degree
Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Scholarships
2024-25: Starting your studies in May 2025 save £3,000 on your master's degree
2025-26: Starting your studies in September 2025 you can save £2,500 on your course
Early Payment Discount
Available for May 2025 intake.
Plan early and save an extra £2,000 on your degree starting in May 2025. This award is also combinable with our Vice-Chancellor Scholarships, meaning you could save up to £5,000 from your bachelor or taught master’s degree tuition fees.
EU Support Bursary
Available for all start dates across 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27.
Get a reduction in tuition fees with this EU bursary. The value of the bursary brings your tuition fees in line with that of UK students and will be automatically applied for all eligible EU students.
Our EU Support Bursary offers financial support to our European students wishing to study with us full-time for all years up to and including the 2026/27 academic year. If you normally reside in the EU and are starting your undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in September, January or May, you could be eligible for this reduction in your tuition fees.
Alumni Discount
Available for all start dates across 2024-25 and 2025-26.
Coventry University alumni, who have graduated with either a Coventry University undergraduate or postgraduate degree, can now receive a 25% discount on our postgraduate courses. The discount applies whether you are continuing in the same discipline or switching to a different subject or campus location.
We have a wide range of full-time and part-time postgraduate courses for you to choose from, you can be confident that you'll find a course to develop your skills and expertise.
Coventry University Sports Scholarships (limited)
Available for May 2025 and September 2025 intake.
Our Sports Scholarship programme consists of two levels and offers either £1,500 or £3,000 in a mixture of a cash bursary and support services per academic year.
Sports Scholarships are awarded competitively to approximately 40-45 students each year who have the sporting ability to represent the University at a high level. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must be competing in a sport which is part of the BUCS Sport, Olympic Sports or Paralympic Sports programmes.
