Coventry University, and our UK campuses, is one such university that welcomes Government sponsored students. Sponsored students can choose from a wide range of courses, as well as experience world class facilities and enjoy a truly international study experience that’s on offer.
Whether you are a recent graduate, researcher or a working professional, our dedicated Government and Education Partnerships team will help you navigate the process from start to finish (application to graduation) and simplify the process for you.
The team offers streamlined support and students and sponsors can expect:
Priority processing: Applications from your programme will receive priority handling, with offer letters issued within 48 hours after complete applications are submitted.
Pre-arrival support: We put on informal webinars for students so they can ask questions about their course and get a taste of what’s to come before confirming their place.
Pre-departure events: We’ll go through everything your students need to know before enrolment begins. We host these face to face when possible and virtually so no one misses out.
Ongoing support: Dedicated weekly drop-in sessions on campus provide a safe space for sponsored students to get help and guidance
Regular updates: Our sponsor team will provide reports on student progress at various points throughout their studies.
All sponsored students can access:
- Health and wellbeing support.
- One-to-one support from a Success Coach from day one whether its support with managing studies, peer mentoring, or accessing support services.
- Help with improving their academic writing.
- In-person or online support for mathematics and statistics problems.
- Career and employability support before and after graduation.
Reasons to sponsor
There is a global shortage of people with relevant skills and it poses a big challenge for policy/decision makers, in local and regional governments, to provide graduates with skills demanded by fast paced economies across the world. Coventry University graduates can potentially help sponsors fill in shortage skills in their respective countries and indirectly help drive economic growth in a cost effective manner.
We offer a wide range of courses that your graduates can consider studying, that will equip them with knowledge and skills to support economic growth in their communities and society in their home countries.
